I know the feeling. You have so much you don't know what you have. To remedy part of the problem instead of storing everything in totes and boxes, I got a bunch (and I do mean a bunch) of cardboards from the grocery store that were part of yogurt packaging and used them to wrap my fabric pieces creating mini bolts. Now, at least my stash is orderly and stacked upright on bookshelves, like books and...I can see what I have without digging thru boxes. Maybe this hint will help. I still have a way to go. The mini bolt cardboards are free.
