it is not that I am against getting a mix, it is just in this area, they are always mixed with another breed I am not found of. Usually a blue heeler, or Australian or a pit! This is farm country, so they want a good guard dog for the farm. I don't need one that needs 50 acres to patrol and animals to herd, I just need a companion!
