I live in Mariposa County, CA. It's the home of Yosemite National Park. It's also the last town on the famous Gold Chain (remember the gold rush of 1849?). The town is very historic and has the oldest courthouse still in daily use west of the Mississippi River.
On a more current note it's also home to NFL guard Logan Mankins from the New England Patriots. His grandfather was the constable for many years.
