your humidity can be low even when it's raining outside-
did your regular dr tell you this or an eye dr?
if it's your gp i would make an appointment with an optomotrist (sp)
in case it's anything (treatable-caused by infection or something that can be -fixed-

too much water can dry you out-like swimming for too long draws the moisture out of your skin
