And yes, I love my three cats!
I use just hydrogen peroxide for urine spots from our very old dog, and it's amazingly effective. Cat urine might need this more complicated formula. Luckily, I haven't had to test it yet.

But before anyone uses hydrogen peroxide on a carpet, be sure to test it on a swatch or in a hidden place, such in a closet, because it might bleach out some carpets.

I leave it to soak in because it needs to penetrate into the backing in order to do any good.
