It depends on what and how much you are going to embroider. My first emb machine was a 300E. If your aim is
to do occasional emb it will be a great machine. However, if
you intend to do a lot of shirts or hats for hire it will be very
time consuming. Do make sure you price the software as well as the machine. THat price seems high without any soft
ware. I currently have a brother 6 needle, use it daily and love it.
