I buy them to have a bit of variety. I have used them to do tube quilts...much quicker than waiting to have fabric cut at LQS (my most impatient time). And they are cute on my shelf...the first thing everyone goes to in my sewing room; then they start with the fat quarter stacks. It's fabric, what can I say!!
