If your hubby can't go, go by yourself and take the kids. My ex used to be that way. I finally decided that if I wanted to do anything I would just have to do it by myself or with a girlfriend. If finances permit don't let the chance to be with your family pass. None of us live forever and it may be the last time you get to see some of your family. JMHO
