I have that iron and love it.
At home I use an iron that belonged to a good friend's mother (from the 50s). No steam, no teflon, gets really hot. Still going strong
A quilting buddy, knowing I'd be in despair at its ultimate demise, gave me the VCS iron. I keep it in my car and take it to retreats, workshops etc. It's a great iron.
