I made one when I had back surgery and was on a walker for several months-I used velcro to hold it on the front cross piece-it holds very securely. I used it to carry bottled water, cordless phone, books, etc.
Wish I had thought about it for my crutches, but now I am almost 100% ambulatory without them...
