I was concerned about the caddy being a hinderance which is why I ended up making them the way I did. The pockets are on the inside so the person can easily get what they need. By modifying the original pattern I reduced the amount of slack so it fits across the walker without impeding the user. I like the idea of making one of the pockets not quite as deep, for a cell phone as an example which would sink down to the botton of the caddy and make it harder to reach in a hurry. I will include this in my tutorial as an option, but I do believe I'll make mine with one smaller pocket.
