Everyone has a good point, are you sure you have your machine? It really sounds fishy that the bobbin area is full of lint when it was clean when you brought it in. My LQS has a repair service and cleaning service and I usually take it in once a year. It never needs much repair and the service there is wonderful. The girls who work there can usually help with minor issues. They are wonderful.
