My Mom was a stay at home Mom and always had freshly baked cookies for me after school. I also remember fondly the summers I spent in Maine with my Mom and brother. My Dad drove up at the end of the summer to get us- 8 weeks on the beach - who wouldn't remember that? My Mom and aunt would take my hands and would jump me over the waves when then came in - I can remember standing there for hours, but I am sure it was probably no more than 10 minutes. She also taught me to sew - she made most of my clothes. Mom, I miss you!
