My mom was a stay at home mom. She was mom and dad when my dad was sent overseas ( he was in the Air Force.) It was so hard for her. I found out later we all could have gone but she didn't want to uproot us. I was a sophomore in high school. She wanted me to finish high school with my friends. I didn't realize what a strong woman she was til I was an adult.
