I've had severe migraines from age 12. "they" told me the headaches would stop when I got pregnant (wrong), in my late 20s (wrong), after I gave birth (wrong again, 2 hours post=c-section and a migraine with vomiting), in menopause (wrong again!). I started to use Imitrex nasal spray at the first sign of the aura and that really helped if I immediately took it then crawled into bed in a dark room. The imitrex shortened the pain from 3 days to about 4 hours. No rebound time either. Then a friend introduced me to feverfew tincture, an herbal remedy. I take it the same way as the imitrex, right when the aura begins. My experience is it works just as well as the imitrex with less body damage to my liver and such. So, try this, it's readily available at a good health food store. I carry it with me always, like I did the imitrex. Good luck. I'm hoping death will terminate the migraines, though I have a feeling (given if I didn't have bad luck, i'd have no luck) that I'll be in line outside the pearly gates, with a migraine listening to the announcer tell me to "be patient, we are processing the multitudes ahead of you, you will be seen as soon as our clerks are available"!
