Mine is the Rowenta travel iron and it is still kicking after more than a year. I found mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond and used a 20% off coupon (I waited until I had a coupon to get one). I love it. I use it mostly for paper piecing and it is so handy sitting right by my right side. Sorry yours have not worked out. :-D
