Years ago, we went to Callaway Gardens in Georgia. They have the most outstanding butterfly garden you can imagine. They also had a multitude of hummingbirds that would come so close to you that it was astounding. As you left the garden, you had to be "brushed off" so you didn't help any of the butterflies or hummers hitch a ride out through the "airlock" type of exit. You could peek into hummer nests there, also. It was the highlight of our trip. Don't miss it if you are in that area.
