My dealer came to the house yesterday to see what was going on and why i was having trouble with it. It turns out I was using the wrong foot to FMQ! I was using the open toe darning foot and it was causing trouble. I now have a metal foot with the adjustment where it raises up and down for thicker quilts and it moves so smooth now. He's also getting me a better bobbin case and a straight stitch plate.

He is so patient and even taught my 6yo how to free motion! What a great experience. I'm so excited and love my new machine now. Thanks everyone for all your encouragement to talk with him and ask for help. If i didn't that machine would sadly be in the closet where it does not belong.

He is teaching a t shirt quilt class at my quilt store and I am going to take it I can't wait! yay! I love great customer service. I will def come back for more machines in the future and will send people to him ;)

Edited to add the name of the shop! It's "People Places and Quilts" in Summerville SC It's an awesome store in downtown Summerville, if you are ever in the Lowcountry you need to stop and visit!
