I'm sorry to hear about Krusty!! It is hard to lose any pet, regardless of the type.

When I was little my grandma would buy me 25 cent feeder goldfish for my fish bowl. Every time one would die I would put it in a small box (usually a white one that jewelry would come in) and bury it in my Great-Grandma's flower garden.

The same Grandma lives on a lot of property out in the country with a large wooded area. We bury our lost pets in her woods. She lost her beloved horse last fall. He was 36 years old!!!!!!!!! Ancient for a horse!! She actually rented a back-hoe and buried him in the horse field.

It goes to show it doesn't matter how big or how small our pets are for us to care about them deeply and to mourn their loss.

Best Wishes to you and your children!!
