I also have degenerative Arthritis, and RA and have suffered for years with pain in my shoulders. Mine is always that my bursa is inflamed. I get cortisone shots into the joint about every year to 18 months and it is usually one shoulder and then the other is next. I would never ever go back to a Doctor that said that to me. I would also contact the office and tell them to move all my medical information to a new Doctor after you have gotten one, and then tell them why. I hope you get some relief soon.
