I was given some Essentials thread. I found it was not very strong for the high speed and needle deflection we see with our longarms.
So I used it for sewing patchwork on my Pfaff.
If I want cotton 50 weight for longarm quilting, I use Signature A&E and I buy it online from Kingsmen Quilting Supply. Their prices and service are wonderful.
