I love the look of these and found some fabric I think that would work well for one. The repeat is 12 1/2 inches. I have cut the pieces that length. So would I want to cut that length in half so my blocks would be closer to 12 inches or so. What would y'all do? I haven't ever made one, or even seen a book, or a quilt in real life. I think you had better stop and get the full instructions before you ruin your fabric by making any more cuts. BEtter to know what you are doing and do it right, isn't it?
