I have a basting gun and its rack. Use it mostly for fixing paper labels to yardage in my stash, or to pieces of batting. Tried it for basting, but didn't like the staples getting in the way of machine quilting, and they do leave the sandwich rather shifty. Much prefer spray basting, then adding long stitches of hand-basting. Yeah, I know it's probably overkill, but it's what I need to do. :roll:
