CK, I'm so sorry that happened at all, let alone twice. If things were going on that kept them from auctioning those quilts off appropriately, they should have given them back to you. JMHO I also understand the giving thing - I try to give and then think, it's theirs and they can do what they want, but some things are easier than others. A quilt has a lot of emotion and love in each part of the process and that should be appreciated. I think the donation of $ is the better option for this group - not that we all don't work very hard for our money too, but this way you can control the value a little better. Big Hugs.
