My DH just had a good (and cheap!) idea for small wall hangings!
I've got a calendar from my quilt magazine which has a pattern for a mini quilt each month - 12" x 16". I've been hanging them up the stairs by just a little loop sewn on the back. I thought this would work as they're so small and it does - until someone opens the door then they all fold in half! SO my DH had the idea of using blades for a hacksaw - 2 euros for 12! They even have a little hole in each end to stitch through!
