OESD has a program called Explorations that I am using. You can start smaller and upgrade as you "grow" into it..or not if you choose. It allows you to "take apart" designs and arrange them on your own with the most basic package (which is mostly what I do)...then you can add components to the programs and even digitize if you choose. Its called Explorations. I thought I would want to digitize, etc., but I found that I would rather spend my time with quilting...and buy designs close enough to what I want right now. Maybe someday though..hope you find what you are wanting!
