I have the 4d (mine is Pfaff but it is identical to the Viking) which I love - the best thing about it/them is that the both will link directly to your Designer via USB. All you do is hit send. Also - my recommendation is go for the gold - get the professional one with the digitizer etc. I think you might regret it later on if you do not. Good luck.
