Before this book when traveling, I would go to the chamber of commerce in the town we were traveling to or around. There you will find many listed (usually). There are some shops that do a bus tour package. You load up sometimes for the day or days and go around to all the shops in a area. I personally haven't done that for I just don't know if you would have time to really shop:)SKeat
Thanks Skeat I do go to several in Burlington but I was just listing my favorites. I find a few things at Sandi's Sewing Connection in W. Burlington but she is the highest one of all the shops I go to so I don't buy a lot there. I do go to Hobby Lobby and Joanne's in Burlington and I bought my computer program EQ5 from the Sew and Sew Shop but they rarely have much I can use as I have to have tiny print. They stock a lot of large florals and watercolors which I can't use.
I haven't been to the one in Fairfield maybe sometime soon I will check it out.
When I was growing up my mom used to love to go ( and drag me along) to Fairfield and spend the whole day shopping. I am not a shopper!! I know what I want and I get it and am done. I don't spend all day going to clothes shops and trying on clothes- it isn't in my blood!!!!
But fabric is another story!!!!!
