I learned to sew in high school, maybe jr high. My mom was a sewer also. I didn't do much sewing until after my kids were born, probably after the birth of my daughter. I would sew all kinds of dresses, boys shirts, tee shirts, panties, etc. I got into quilting at my church where they always had a couple of quilts to be worked on during our monthly relief society meetings. I have slowed down over the years but got back into sewing after the birth of my grandkids. Then came the blessing dresses and quilts.
