When she attended regular school she boarded the bus at 6:55 a.m. and returned home as late as 5:00 p.m. This was straight from school not from child care...Her school time started at 7:45 and ended at 3:00...she also had a bus change... yes it was a school bus not public transportation
Leota, I hope it goes well for your dgd. We use that program. My son is an advanced learner and the local schools seem only to care about the kids who struggle and those who don't speak English. There are days where we don't meet the exact time requirement but we also go to school more days than the average students since there are no no teacher days, snow days, etc.. We even work over the summer!! It's worked well for us!!
