Poor bats have gotten a (mostly) bad rap. They do not suck our blood, they eat insects like mosquitos. They fly around inside, because they are confused. We live in a really old house, and will usually get a bat in the house every so often. We have found that if we just stay quiet, the bat will land on the curtain, and then we can wrap it in a towel and take it outside again. My youngest granddaughter was terrified of the bat, until we explained that he was lost, and looking for a way out to go home again.
