I was surprised at the color choice that my younger granddaughter made also. The older one has always loved pink and I never have to guess about color choices for projects for her. The younger one now wants a quilt with the same fabrics that are in her purse. Originally I had one planned with blue and greens. I let her select another pattern for her quilt so we are now scheduled to make a Streak of Lightening quilt using black and white fabrics with a black background.
