I was attending our local quild and it wasn't working in with my schedule. Then I did join the guild in the larger city and have loved it. They have a retreat each year for members only and get lots of speakers and great ideas. Some guilds have quilt shows and some don't. But with any group of people there will be those that think they know it all. Don't be too put off by them because chances are there are other members having the same experience with them. I've made some wonderful new friends and love spending time with the guild.
