Colleen, thank you for this information. I went to Sutherlands Lumber here in MS and found this dimmer that has a long cord and a slide button. I printed out your website information looking for the one you have. This one is also 125V and is up to 300 watts. It was $10.99 plus tax. I plugged my machine into it and at first I thought it wasn't working because my sewing machine light didn't come on. Then as I slid the button and pressed the presser foot, the light came on and I could control the speed. It comes with screws to attach it to a surface and I can have it attached to my sewing desk. I finally found it online at Amazon so I could post a picture of what I got today. I am just starting my first free motion baby quilt and didn't want to mess it up. Thank you so much for the information. Oh, I have another light above my sewing machine and that will do just fine with a slower speed.
