DH made me another extension that fits on the top drawer of the left cabinet.
The sewing cabinets I had built to extend the original sewing cabinet table top. Not thinking about the quilt hanging over the top and my constantly having to pull it up onto the sewing area, which was very hard on my left arm, he came up with this solution - it works really well.

These are the pictures of the extension for the sewing area and also the support post for the drawer. It is very easy for me to put up and take down as well.

This made my sewing and quilting a nicer experience.

Thanks for looking.

Bottom side of board that fits on top of drawer to show bracket that fits under lip of sewing table top and two boards to level up the top -sorry for picture quality
