The pattern is called Affairs of the Heart by Aie Rossman published by AQS, there are approx. 100 ladies from all over the world making this quilt.

Everyone is doing their own utilizing various materials, if you would like to see some of the center units made by 6 quilters of that approx. #100 ladies, so far - do the following:

Click on Home at the main page of QB
" on Blocks of the month and week
" on Affairs of the Heart - sew 2011

At the bottom of the page that comes up, click on Topic Lists, again, click on Affairs of the Heart - Sew 2011

Then click down a little ways on that page and find "Center Units" - there are approx. 6 of us that have our center units completed - see Page 1, 3, 7, 11 and mine is on Page 13. You will see some pretty stunning appliques on that site. They are all so different, but all very beautiful.

I started on mine in April and just about completed with the last border that may take me until Xmas - lots of embroidery (bobbin work) and applique. Needle turn applique was difficult at the beginning as was bobbin work, but now that is the way I will be doing my applique quilts.

Last time I checked I think only 1 person had their totally completed, and I believe there is a listing for the completed quilts as well, if my memory serves me well.

Thanks for your very kind comments, very encouraging.
