yes, i have sent designs out to be printed. i only do this when i want to make a whole cloth quilt and the designs are really large.
these works just look bad when you have to piece together sheets of fabric printer paper so i send it out to be printed.
i've made about 8 quilts this way and 5 of them have been for recording studio's in NY.
