Believe me, when there is a romantic ending in the workplace, the woman is the one who loses her job. Keep ALL of it away from the job, and don't let it impact your professional life in any way!!!!
You don't have to go 11 years with no dates - put yourself out there and do things that will put you in contact with prospects you will have common iinterests with. Just because you have dinner with a guy doesn't mean you have to live together or marry. All it means is a meal! Get your priorities clear about what you do and don't want, instead of just waiting to see what sort of driftwood comes downstream.
