As far as I know, my hair loss is genetic - both my grandmothers wound up with very thin hair and odd hairlines. I started seeing my hairline receding a handful of years ago. Started taking prenatal vitamins a short time later (for teeth issues, no less, prescribed by my dentist!) and my hair has never been healthier. I get mine from Wal-Mart; it's actually cheaper, on my plan, to buy buy them over the counter than it is to fill a prescription!
