Go to Walmart get Spring Valley "Hair, Skin and Nails" vitamin...3000mcg of Biotin. Plus lots of the other vitamins as well. Been on it for a year and my hair is back to normal. It was getting so thin on the top..caused from bad case of Shingles, loosing 30 pounds, and I've been on thyroid meds for 25 years. But these vitamins have worked. Just take a long time. $7. a bottle at Walmart, I take 2 a day, recommended dose I think is 3 a day...
