Here is what I was taking apart
How about buying a chain saw file from the hardware store. Take the ripper with you and ask if you can get a finer enough to go in the U bend. All you would need to do is twist the file until the ripper is sharp. Until I read this topic I never though of it before. It is worth trying(Unless DH has one in garage for HIS saw.) It is worth trying and will save$$$$ form throwing away the rippers all the time.
