I hope your Mom is ok. I think if nothing medically is wrong with her, and she wants to quit quilting that should be her decision. Just make sure she is alright.
I know this is different but I used to exercise all the time. Then had back surgery (11 years ago) and have gained weight but can not, can not get back to exercise and probably never will. It's something I just quit...
