I agree. Even though I own six of the newer computerized machines as well as 5 old mechanical singers, I am shocked at the prices of new machines. Really. It would make one want to look for older used machines instead of purchasing new. I have a theory that many of us are doing just that and the older machines are enjoying a revival of popularity. No wonder, right?
