I teach my children to say it. However, we've noticed that very few people say "Thank you" these days.
Yes & when I walk in front of someone on an aisle in the store I say excuse me. Have taught the children the same thing. Not enough good manners in the world today. Also taught all of them including grands- yes sir/no sir & the same on the mams.
