I'm a user! Was diagnosed a couple of years ago when I was 41. My husband told me when I was 34 he thought I had sleep apnea. I would laugh it off. Then after I had my son at 38 I went to talk to ob/gyn about my blood work because I was tired all the time and did not want to have sex. He said you just had a baby and you are in college, you should be tired. Then he told me I should let my husband get a girl friend! (another story for another day). Any way, I left crying.moving forward a few years. Went to another doctor with same complaints. She said I had mild post partum depression. After two years of having my son! So she gave me welbutrin. I took for two weeks and then quit because it didn't feel right. Now a couple years later, went to another doctor, told her my history. She said I think you have sleep apnea.
So have severe sleep apnea. Stopped breathing 59 times a minute. I cried when I finally got a diagnosis for me being so tired!!!!! I thank god for my machine. I use it every night and when I travel. Now I can't sleep with out it.
