This is a facinating conversation. I live in tornado and ice storm land with an ocassional blizzard tossed in now and again. All of the prep you do, should be the same things we do, but we often don't, because we think we are invincible. Well, I don't but many do. Thanks for the good reminders. I like the comment about paying for camping and you get to do it at home! Sure is the truth. May a fine meal has been prepared in the fireplace while the ice and snow tap at the doors and windows and the furnace shivers from the lack of electricity.
