I think she's especially lovely and very generous with all her free videos and patterns. (But I still wouldn't go to her Block Parties - lol)

Actually, I think it's great when they rip the fabric because then you can easily find the straight grain and not have to rip yourself when you receive the fabric. It's the way I was taught many years ago.
