Her show, on PBS locally, is the only quilting show I can get. Nancy Zieman is sometimes quilting, but often garment construction. Why does cable have 438+ sports channels but no quilt channel?
Anyhow, I have a couple of her books. Log cabin in a day was the very first quilt I made, and it was so well written that I had no problems.
Her story is just amazing and inspirational. How frightening must it be to suddenly be on your own with two small children and no job?? Look at her now - she didn't waste time crying "poor me" or let her situation hold her back. She is a little over the top cheerful, but that's her style and boy, has it served her well!
