I agree. If I am going to bid on something, I don't want to do the back and forth bidding, I want to know exactly the lowest price the seller will take and then I am willing to bid on it or not. I know my financial limits. But I also know if I am bidding on something on Ebay, it means I want it. I would rather not know after I have placed my highest bid that the reserve was not met and I never had a chance to get it anyway.
