I was told by a Featherweight gentleman who sells & repairs
Featherweights that the smell is not from the machine but from the case. The glue that was used in constructing the case eventually begins to stink. He said that nothing can be done about it. I met him at a show but don't know his name. Happy Sewing from Spokane.
